Anti-corrosion protection
To prepare the base, we perform the following:
- Abrasive and hydro-abrasive blasting
- Manual and mechanical cleaning
- Washing, dust removal and degreasing
For our abrasive materials, we use sand (water sandblasting), copper slag and corundum, enabling us to guarantee an appropriate degree of purity and asperity in accordance with PN-ISO 8501-1:2007. Coats of paint are applied manually or using painting equipment and technology such as the hydrodynamic method. We also employ climbing techniques in our anti-corrosion protection work.
In choosing the most suitable anti-corrosion protection method, we take account of:- The corrosiveness of the environment to which the coating is to be exposed
- The type of base, the state of the surface protection and the design of the structure
- The required durability of the coating
- The characteristics of the coating (chemical, thermal and mechanical resistance)
- Product compatibility
- The characteristics and conditions governing the application of the paint (coating thickness, drying time, application conditions, etc.)
- Execution time, taking account of weather conditions
- Environmental and fire protection requirements
